| MISSION STATEMENT -
The Mid-Rio Grande chapter is committed to providing youth of all ages with meaningful opportunities for education, training, leadership, volunteering and community service. Through a cross-generational approach, each youth volunteer will contribute valuable services and resources to each other, schools, clients, and the community while gaining invaluable life changing experiences.
VISION -
The Mid-Rio Grande Chapter seeks to provide services to and through youth, which offer them experiential opportunities to become responsible, well-rounded citizens and our leaders of tomorrow, as well as instilling the value of life-long volunteerism and service to others.
Opportunities for youth to participate in service learning, become volunteers, and become involved community service projects can be gained by joining the American Red Cross Youth Program. More information for youth, teachers, parents and friends can be found by contacting Janice Wilson at 505-265-8514 or via e-mail at WilsonJan@usa.redcross.org.
