All DAT members who have not taken the courses below within the past two years need to do so. Contact Amelia if you have questions about your need to take the course.
Note: While Fulfilling Our Mission is a prerequisite for the other courses, it may be waived if the date below is impossible for you but you can attend the Client Casework course at this time.

Fulfilling Our Mission – Translating your Compassion into Action
There are no classes scheduled at this time.
This 3 hour course introduces the student to how the Red Cross interacts with the community to provide vital services after a disaster and the role he or she can play. It is a prerequisite for all other Disaster Services courses. Volunteers interested in becoming Disaster Services workers must take this course, but it is a good overview for anybody interested in the American Red Cross. Preregistration for either session is required and can be made by calling 505-265-8514. Space is limited.
